That's probably a fair assessment of value.
You can absolutely pay for a new grading report by GIA, but be prepared for it to come back 1-3 grades lower on color and 0-2 grades lower on clarity, which runs you the risk of tanking the value even more.

I mean, a 5 carat pear is amazing lol. But it doesn’t matter what anyone thinks, it’s how you feel about it.

You should start a new thread. Each thread is dedicated to one person’s question(s). And I would put up photos and videos in all different lighting conditions and also your budget so people can judge.
