Ooo! If it fits in there I''m imagining it''s going to be beautiful! I love that blue color.

I have no idea if the proportions and are right, I just matched it up with existing prongs. Hope it helps.

I like the design! Is this going to be a RHR?

I don''t know why I lost the picture quality of the stone.

Bleh, I see it''s already been done.

Yes eventually...when I get the money to get it all done. It will cost me about 600. I paid $4.85 for the stone including shipping.. It is the mount that costs so much.

I really like it and if the stone fits it would look great. The only thing is the stone night not fit. I was given a really old beautiful setting by my mother ( which I dio intend to use at some point), but I bought a garnet thinking it would be the perfect size and when I brought it to the jeweler he said it would be about $180 to set because some small alterations would have to be made with prongs or something. So you never know how much it''s going to cost to set

One of my parents friends is a jeweler so I think I can get a discount

That setting, particularly with the stone, is just beautiful!!! Do they give dimensions for the setting as to what mm size stone would fit, or can they give them to you before you bid?

I have to look. the mount fits 7 x 5mm

I am waiting for a reply from the store. i will keep you all posted......

ok well I got the reply and it turns out that the stone will not fit in the setting after all. SO now I have to look for a new setting. That is not fun. I really liked that one too. Any suggestions as to where I am suppose to look now???

Back to square one..........................

I''m not a jeweler, but a 4.9 x 7.2 mm stone won''t fit in there, no way no how? 1/10 or 2/10 of a mm and the stone won''t fit? Would never have thunk it.

thats kinda what I thought after some alterations it would have fit. I could have made the prongs bigger or something. However the guy could also be an idiot and no nothing at all.................

I''m not a jeweler either but I believe that stone would fit. I have had stones set that were not a calibrated size. That stone is not that much difference.
