Would you wear a u-prong 3/4 eternity all the time?

I have a 4 prong 5 stone (0.75 tcw) from IDJ that I love and I've worn it all the time for 3 years with no problems at all.

But I really love the look of an u-prong 3/4 eternity and would like to upgrade, but I'm wondering if those that have one feel it would be durable enough to wear all the time.

I'm a full time mom, so cooking, cleaning and messes are part of my everyday life.

Honestly, I love the 5 stone you have now! It looks very blingy, yet comfortable... I would worry that a 3/4 eternity with similar sized diamonds wouldn't be as comfy.

I love the size of my 5 stone too, but if I don't get an eternity, I would add 2 stones because I don't love the 5 stone look. I prefer to at least have the look of a full row of diamonds, and a seven stone would give me that, with the safety and comfort of the four prongs...

What is the saying if it ain't broke don't fix it. I love your current ring and if your questioning durability of daily wear of the u prong then pass. Our SO gave us the rings to wear them. I cook clean bake, paint and play with clay with my marquis eternity band and I wouldn't have it any-other way

I agree about having a full row of diamonds... that said, the OP is lucky to have nice slender fingers to be able to accomplish that look with a five stone! ...wish I was that lucky!!

I wear my WF 15pointer Uprong "almost-eternity" (it's a full eternity minus one stone for sizing) virtually every waking hour. I don't sleep in it - but that's more because I'm not comfortable sleeping in jewellery than because I'm concerned about durability.

I break all the rules with this thing - I clean in it, I garden in it... it's been two years and so far so good! I am, however, careful with my left hand in general, even whilst doing the dishes and whatnot, so I'm lucky in that regard, and I recognise that it's probably only a matter of time before my luck runs out! I'm prepared to repair/replace as necessary.

I would wear it all the time. In fact, I would probably make it full eternity because seeing metal really irritates me. My fingers have gotten used to a lot of abuse so a full eternity would not bother me at all.
