You mean to tell me there is a diamond somewhere amongst those inclusions?

I think I''ll just start digging up rocks out of my backyard and start setting them into rings, someone will buy them......

Ahaha me too! Maybe I can find some quartz and call it diamond.

ROTFL!!! I looked at the items this seller offers and I am horrified by most of them. I can''t believe people are buying this stuff!!!

Apparently you can dig up some granite and call it a diamond with the looks of that "GRAY" sucker.

<--Freke is in shock at the I3 clarity on that pathetic stone.

It looks like someone spilled a pepper shaker in clear glue and called it a diamond

why would anyone buy it?!?

That thing belongs in a drill bit looking for BLACK GOLD!!!!

OMG! That gray... thing is just...

Ick...

OMG it looks like marble set in a diamond ring! Honestly, the workmanship on the ring is not fantastic either. The channel are wonky and the polish is second grade...

haHAA!

It''s so included--it''s become a rock! Off with you to the quarry--I say!

Did anyone notice the centre prong is crooked? I''d be asking for a discount based on that too...............

I really like the black sparkly background, it might just distract one enough to not notice...

Ugh. I think I just threw up in my mouth a little. That thing is horrid.

This has got to be one of the funniest threads I've ever read! WHY are people buying this stuff (although I have to say I'm strangely drawn to the black garden pebble) at those prices??????

I've never been so relieved to read that something is truly a "one of a kind"

Ewe! It reminds me of frosted, cracked glass.

Oh my gosh, these rings are hilarious.

They may as well combine color and clarity--Color: Included.

"Rock bottom prices" is just about right. I wonder who appraised that ring for $28k.

I don''t think I''ve seen such a bad craftsmanship on a gold ring: very crooked center stone, prongs out of alignment, the pathetic excuse for a setting on the princess accent stone, badly finished interior...

However, I must admit that I find the milky diamond appealing, as a curio stone. Reset without any other diamonds, to highlight the milkiness.

Some jewelers are marketing the more organic look by using "dirty diamonds." They''re heavily included diamonds like these, although some might sparkle and many of them are colored (browns, greys, and brownish yellows).

I recently saw some super heavily included diamonds like these shaped into very rough looking briolettes for a ring, bracelett and necklace. It was in a major jewelry publication. It was set in dark oxidized metal. The jewelry had a very organic look to it. I think these stones would be good for that, but they look really silly in a sparkly white setting.

There''s a market for all kinds of diamonds I guess. I have a 1.75 SI carat cognac brown diamond. I bought it 15 years ago and paid very little for it since there was no market for those at the time. Now I look at the prices that they want for brown diamonds and I''m shocked. People would cringe at brown diamonds not too long ago, but now they''re considered "fancy colored." Maybe in 20 years we''ll be pining away at heavily included "dirty" diamonds - ha! Who knows, perhaps DeBeers will plan a new marketing strategy on heavily included bort.

Believe it or not, these designer earrings that were showcased in the major jewelery magazine cost several thousand dollars. Those "boulders" are diamonds.

Very bad emeralds that they sell on some of the shopping networks remind me of that as well. Really bad dirty green cracked glass. I like this thread since we''re so used to seeing such gorgeous stones and jewelry in this forum. It''s nice to see the other end of the spectrum to get an idea of what really bad stones look like.

And if you want to enhance that exotic beauty you could even take it to someone to cut it for you! I wonder why the jeweller didn''t think of that?

That is such a weird looking diamond! I have never seen anything like it...how does that happen? Is it intentional? uuuuugly!
