Just a brief update. I got some pictures of that cluster from Lang's and the stones are gorgeous! I found the price a bit steep and the mounting a bit too large, but I thought I would post these in case anyone is interested.

I went ahead and ordered this one today to take a look. It really isn't at all what I had in mind, but something about it appeals to me. It's more interesting than so many of the clusters out there and the stones look like they might be fun. And I didn't want to spend a ton on this as I don't know how long this cluster fetish will last.

It's beautiful, but it's too big and too high for me. I much prefer low set rings.

I got the cluster from Ivy and Rose today. I was pleasantly surprised. It's a very unique setting and the stones are surprisingly white (although definitely some color on the smaller OMC's). The stones are all very rustic, some almost look like rose cuts, and give off that chunky sparkle I was after. I think it was a very fair price for how significant the ring appears on the hand. I am so glad I didn't go for a cluster with a higher carat weight -- this is plenty big for me!!!! Thank you so much, elizat, for linking this ring. I think it will scratch my cluster itch without breaking the bank. Pics don't do it justice. It's much prettier in person.
