Yah, I’m engaged!

So it happened two weeks ago, but I didn’t want to announce it since I know I’m breaking the cardinal post-pictures of the e-ring rule. The problem is the ring is exactly what I ordered and yet not quite what I wanted. Isn’t that crazy? Anyways, I have a meeting scheduled with Barry at Excel Diamonds next week so that I can drop the ring off to be tweaked AND resized smaller. Am I complete idiot, or what? I couldn’t even get the size right even though I tried them on – lol! Anyways, I just wanted to out myself as I’m anticipating needing a lot of help from all of you over the next year as my fiancé and I plan our wedding. Also, more importantly, I’m sure I’ll need somewhere to vent about my FMIL and I’m sure I’ll need to do this before I’m ready to post pictures of the final e-ring

My sister and I are travelling to NYC tomorrow night. I have an appointment with Barry on Friday afternoon. I''ll give up the ring then and then have to wait a more few weeks to get it back and on my finger for good (I hope). Thanks for asking

Thanks Ajl! You're right, everything is so exciting right now - from dress shopping to picking a destination for our wedding (most likely the Dominican Republic). But, the demands of work and school are getting in the way of the fun stuff - lol! Why can't I win the lottery and be an unemployed millionaire
