congrats on the engagement. Your ring is delicious. And don''t apologize for the dark nail polish. On short, well-kept nails it''s super chic. When I break a nail (which isn''t very often), I cut them all down and paint them a dark color for fun. It also makes diamonds look that much whiter. Not that you have that problem. What a beauty!

Why thank you! My FI purchased the diamond and setting from Diamonds Direct in NC...I conveniently gave him tons of ideas of settings I love and he and the jeweler worked together to create it!
