You know what I just thought of? A suggestion.

Not sure anyone ever talked about this or not. Maybe you have. I''m not even married but the thought just came to me. PS should make a whole seperate section for married ladies. Think about it.......we have LIW for the ladies waiting to get engaged, BWW for the ladies engaged and planning to be married, but nothing for married PS''ers...

Just a thought.

What would we discuss there?

I do get bored and stroll over to the liw section, lots of us do.

I think it would be fun for the newly married PS''ers. But us long time married peeps, could be a snooze fest???

LOL, that is what I was thinking. LOL LOL LOL gosh, we think too much alike! LMAO I consider myself an old married fart. haha

haaha! That could be so. I just thought maybe you'd talk about the things that are talked about in the other sections only for the married ladies. Perhaps just the newly married ladies. Who knows. Just a thought!

ETA- You know...."hubby snores, I can't take it anymore" type threads haha!

Ah, I do think it is a thoughtful suggestion but I sort of think Family, and Home is a married section or at least to me it is and then Hangout is everyone.

It really is a bit odd. You date, that''s exciting. You get engaged, that''s really exciting and stressful. You get married, that''s when you figure out how your family *really* works. And then it''s all over. If you have a baby or buy a house then you''re set for a while with threads to troll, babies to feed, redecoration to do. Right now I''m in limbo and expect to be for some years. Married ladies sounds like a good idea, but unlike all the other groups, I''m not sure that we have much in common. We really are old farts!

I kind of wish there was a baby/pregnancy board instead of just threads for the 2. Sometimes it can be hard to keep up with what''s going on with everyone when they get so long.

Ah, didn''t mean to. I did have a bit of a crash after the wedding and I read about others on the BIW threads going through something similar. I do think it gets a bit boring. You get so much attention when you''re engaged and newly married and then it''s back to life again.

Well I know that my generation of LIW have already gone and gotten themselves knocked up!

So the trend appears to be that there isn't too much of a transition period between bride and family planning. But since DH and I won't be having children for another couple of years, it does start to feel like I'm missing a "place". KWIM? Possibly why I spend so much time in ATW. lol. Although I haven't really been doing that much either.

I think the TTC/Pregnancy/Baby forum might be a good idea. Some of those threads are huge and combing through them is daunting.

I get that. But starting new ones will only grow as these threads have.... How to deal with that? I dunno. I started the preggo thread a while ago. Gosh back in 2006? I'd have to check. Yes just checked 6/23.2006

But love that it has been there for all that need support and want to share with others during their pregnancies. I only wish I had that way back when. I say keep it as it is, it's working. But that's just me.
