I have a bit of an emerald shrinkage problem apparently because I’m expecting this 5+ carat cushion emerald from Alex Park soon. I gotta stop after this. Ok maybe after some studs.

2 rings on the index finger; rubies and tiny diamonds in rose gold, and the bottom ring is also rose gold with various quartz. The chain ring is from etsy back in 2018 or 16 when I first found this forum. I think the rest were from last year's Bluenile sale.

The trinity ring necklace on the bottom. Sorry I meant to take off the unmentionable item but the chains are a bit tangled in the back. I'll have to wear it like this until one of my kids help untangle them lol.

I love love the Cartier trinity but, alas, I don't have the thousands for it. This was $160 last Friday. It's hollow and light, which is perfect because I don't want a solid heavy necklace. I think I might have to find a new chain for it. Perhaps that would stop the tangled mess lol.

I also bought silver aquamarine earrings (but they photograph like dirty grayish stones) and a pair of earrings that have "LO" on one earring and "VE" on the other earring. Very odd looking on. I might not keep them.

I wore it all today to pick up a red velvet cake for my son's birthday and my husband said it was a bit much. Lol But I don't care! Now I'm looking for rings in emerald, sapphire and amethysts. Or any stone in green, blue and purple. Next year of course ;)2

Roberto Coin Salty Pretzel in Yellow gold. I've wanted it for years.
When I got it and put it on, I remembered why I don't wear yellow gold. It just looks terrible on me. Sent it back.
(Don't like it as much in white gold.. :(2 )

Emerald is 5.10, diamonds are 1.40 ctw, setting is 18k WG. That’s all I know for now, it’s being sized and sent in for an appraisal so I have it for insurance purposes. It’s a just for fun kind of ring so I wasn’t too concerned about a lab report; I trust Alex not to sell questionable goods. To answer your question about fragility: no, I don’t really worry about it. The one in my avatar is my special custom piece so I had it bezeled for extra protection, and I don’t wear it in situations where it would get knocked around or dirty, although I do wear it often. This one is so large it will be worn as a cocktail ring for a few hours at a time and I don’t foresee any issues unless I accidentally slam my hand in a door. :)

Yes! I wouldn’t have been able to afford one this size if it was a top quality Muzo. I’d say “maybe someday,” but even if I could afford to I don’t think I could bring myself to spend that much on a ring.

I am toying with the idea of a 2ct approx. EC, G/H VS quality, as a present to myself for my next significant birthday.

Afterall, I do not need to trade up or sell my beloved 1.19ct E VS1 EC which has huge sentimental values in order to finance a bigger stone, so why not?!

The setting I have in mind is a 3-stone with step cut traps, all bezel set; a smaller version of my EC Aquamarine with step cut Morganite traps.

here is another one, so I work in retail and sometimes can get good deals on some pieces. Typically right hand or occasional pieces but when I can get something new for cheap I’m happy , and addicted lol. This one, I thought the design was cool 1/4 carat paid $44 I think

Just seen and bought a cheapo 2.90ct Amethyst in emerald cut from Jeff Davies.

It looks like a nice stone and I don't have an EC Amethyst.

Good job my birthstone is affordable!

Most likely to be set in Rhodium-plated Silver with some baguette Moissy steps on each side as I like that setting.
