It's here & it's DIVINEIt's a little longer than stated but doesn't ride too far onto my palm, so won't be an issue. And despite having quite a thin chain, it's SO weighty. The gold is super rich & yellow. I thought my bangle was a lux yellow, but this has that proper deep buttery antique colouring. Perhaps now that I'm moving into a lovely old house, I shall collect more lovely old jewellery......

-- a three-stone with 2.29ct GIA OMC diamond (Alex Park), 1.17ct AGL unheated Ruby (bought on LT as red spinel lol) and 1.02ct AGL heat-only Sapphire (Gemfix) -- center cushion is 9x7mm and the two side ovals are 6x5mm.
-- an OEC Trilogy ring with GIA 1.2ct I-VS2 OEC (6.75-6.9mm) (Jewels by Whitney) and two GIA 5.5mm GIA H/I OECs (which I had on hand) -- center halo is 0.12ctw H/I-VS single-cuts provided by DK

@MissGotRocks Mine are also always in water..I can’t get anything to get moisture to stay in my hands. I also inherited my mom’s hands. They have been veiny and wrinkled since I was much younger. Whenever I take a photo I lather up with lotion before it gets sucked in and they turn to tissue paper again!

I had just today gotten a Berricle emerald cut to try it out and when I showed it to DH he said “well we have an anniversary coming up so why don’t you find a real one”. Okay! Don’t have to ask me twice!

@Pomelo Thank you. It doesn’t have its own thread. Yes, you are right - there are alternating marquises. The emerald is over 14 mm by 12 by 9. Since this is a “things we are considering” thread, I can share that I took a while to decide. I placed a deposit to reserve the ring. For the next few months, I bugged different people in the jewelllery industry to look at the specs and photos of the ring and tell me I what they thought. I asked several emerald dealers, including a highly respected one. So shameless of me! They all kindly shared their thoughts. Some frankly told me, “I don’t have one like that and if I could it would be …(a shocking amount). The well-known dealer asked if I wanted one with no oil and showed me a $1.5 million dollar ring. I asked Jewellers, e.g., Zsusanna of Landolf & Huber in Zurich. She was enthusiastic about the ring. Alexander Laut liked it and asked me to request to have the ring re-tested before buying. So I did, and it came back with the same results as in the older GRS cert. I usually do my homework, but not to this extent!Wow!!
