I did a sort of upgrade with GOG. My 1.05 G SI1 AVR was lovely, but I could SWEAR I was able to see tint, and it bothered me. For only a few dollars more, I was able to go up to a 1.09 F VS2 Ascendancy diamond, which GOG set for me in the same setting, shaving down the prongs at the same time.
Darren sent me a before and after; the new diamond is 6.65mm up from 6.43mm, it's whiter, cleaner, and the setting now looks better.

I'll share some better photos of the new ring when it arrives on Saturday. It won't be staying as a solitaire - it will probably find its final iteration some time in the new year as a three stone with round sides, a three stone with pear sides, or, most likely, as a cluster.
