A gorgeous 1.11 carat GIA certified Square Emerald Cut (Asscher) diamond with VVS2 clarity, I color, and excellent cut and polish takes center stage between 2 VS1, G/H color round brilliants, each weighing .33 carats. They are set in a custom-made platinum bezel setting with milgrain detail around each stone. Ring size is currently size 6.

I had this ring made to use stones I had, but haven’t worn it and now I could use the funds for other projects. I would just like to get out of it what I’ve invested, which is much less than it would cost to make now. Welcome to the forum!

Unfortunately, jewelry isn’t the best investment and usually sellers take a substantial loss. Expecting to get out what you put in is setting yourself up for disappointment.

I’ll be honest that the pieces you’re selling are at retail in today’s world (your other piece is above I think), which gives buyers here little incentive to purchase. You’re basically asking buyers to pay what you’ve paid, assume more risks and get no perks from buying at a store (like warranties and customer service), and buy the items used.

If you’re looking to sell for closer to retail, you’ll likely have to consign with someone like Jewels by Grace.

Good luck!

Hello- and thank you so much for the feedback. Being new here, it helps to have realistic expectations.

I’ve heard of Jewels by Grace, so I will reach out to see what she can do.

Again, I can’t thank you enough for giving me an idea of what to expect!

Totally! Selling jewelry isn’t easy and the best way to use this platform to sell is to establish trust as a member of the community. That’s another key factor.

Good luck!

This ring will be going to Jewels by Grace for resale. Thanks to everyone for feedback.

Out of curiosity, where did this go? I have a Nice Ice Asscher, haven't seen another.
You had it set beautifully.

It will be listed soon(ish) at Jewels by Grace. Thanks so much for the compliment!
