Not to sound like a sob story, but found out today that I’m laid off. If anyone knows anyone looking for a beautiful ring such as this, I’d appreciate it if you would tell them about the listing.

Very sorry to hear of your redundancy, that sucks.

Whilst JBG will end up eventually getting you a better price (pre-commission) sales do usually take a very long time. If you need the money you might be better off listing this at a more reasonable price on LT.
 
I'm sorry about the lay off- I'm afraid more will come with the issues in the economy.

I would keep this with Grace until the NY show, which is at the end of the month. Maybe a shopper will try them on and love it in person. If not, maybe ask if she'd negotiate the end of contract fee if you really need a quicker sale.

I have consigned a few things with her and usually, if they go fast it's within the first few days of it being a new arrival. Otherwise, it's a wait. She has sold everything but one ring I took back. I was surprised that didn't sell. It's hard to guess what will sell at times.

You can ask her to discount it as well as we approach Christmas and she has a "last chance" section. I don't think she does a standard pre Christmas sale. It depends on how quickly you need these to sell.

I'm sorry about the layoff! I hope you find something else really soon.
 
Yes, she said she thought the August Vintage would go quick. But so far nothing. I haven’t seen her feature either of them on IG, but I have been trying to remind people they are available. Downside is, I only have 200 followers so that means only a handful see my stories.

But I am hoping they go with her to NY. That would be a blessing, for sure. More eyes on them because they both truly are stunners and in wonderful shape.

Ask her to take them to NY. She probably will, but just ask. She'll accomodate!

Yes I would ask! And I hate to say this but your photos are so much better than the ones on her site. Hers don’t do your rings justice! She is now talking photos on the hand in direct sun which I just don’t get. I hope she might feature it on IG in a video like she does with some of her pieces….anyway fingers crossed for NY!!!

Eta - I don't have a zillion followers either but I’ll still share a vid on my page of your rings. Will look for one later today :)

Yes, I emailed her this morning to ask about NY. Fingers crossed she’s taking them!

As for the pictures/video on her site, I do agree that they don’t quite capture the dynamic appearance of either ring. They really are much more striking in person.

Did get confirmation that both the Crown Jubilee and the August Vintage are going to NY and Hillsborough. *fingers crossed*
