Hi all - think I've decided to list my lab grown diamond solitaire for sale (feeling a bit reluctant!). This stone is icy white, fiery, often blinds me with its big flashes. I recently had a beautiful new ring made for it. But unfortunately I've developed the dreaded DSS and the need to go larger.
Diamond is a 1.67ct E color eye-clean SI2, purchased last year from Distinctive Gem, and *very* thoroughly analyzed by the incredible Jonathan Weingarten. Jonathan included the ASET and other imaging, an AGS PGS report, and in his evaluation he said "the optics are AGS Ideal Awesome!" The single inclusion that gives it the SI2 grade is a translucent feather, and I was assured by Jonathan that it is of no concern and all is structurally sound, as it is a healed feather located in the side of the diamond, it is not open or surface-reaching anywhere. The diamond measures 7.64 x 7.67mm for a bit larger look, and has a smaller table at 55.5 which as I understand lends well to more fire along with the CA & PA proportions.
The custom Tiffany-inspired setting was just completed in July of this year by David Klass Jewelry. I really love the more open head / prongs (see side view photo) - wonderful for cleaning! Platinum, size 6.5.
Asking $2650, via Venmo or PayPal Friends & Family for payment (rather than PP Goods & Services - so hopefully I don't have to claim as income). I've been selling on LT and DB and eBay for years. For shipping I would prefer to send the ring to DK for a prong check and clean/polish if needed first, and then ask him to ship it insured to the buyer.
I can be reached through Loupe Troop here, LT listing to come:

Here are two lovely 360 videos of the stone from Jonathan / Distinctive Gem :

1.67 video
Below are a couple of recent photos, the IGI grading certificate, and scope images:

this shows how the feather isn't surface-reaching
hearts pattern - though not branded H&A
Thanks for looking!
