With the change to WF’s upgrade policy I’m not really sure I want to pay the premium to keep upgrading through them. I want to say it’s a size 6.5. The sizing beads from my original SMTB post were removed by DK, who also did the resize.

The new requirement will only apply to new purchases. All prior purchases are not affected. Benefits are always governed by the policies in place at the time of purchase

@winnietucker in case this makes a difference just wanted to repost that the upgrade policy only applies to new purchases.

I feel your pain @winnietucker ...I only have one more upgrade through WF and that's it. That, and the introduction of
inexpensive lab stones has thrown me for a loop. I don't know what to think or which direction to head.

You can upgrade this stone one more time. I would try to get as close to size and color that you can with the upgrade - maybe even looking at your forever diamond? Not sure how much you are losing by selling the diamond outright, but that amount could be used toward an upgrade. Just want to make sure you figure in all the ins and outs of selling and upgrading elsewhere.

I just didn’t do it this year because my bonus was pro-rated since I was out on maternity leave for a good portion of last year. Good luck with what you decide as well! It’s a hard decision to make.

It wouldn’t have mattered though - you can still upgrade this diamond for only $1 more. If you wanted to upgrade after that, the new policy would apply. However, if you want an OEC guess you will have to sell and start over. Good luck with whatever you choose to do!

Off topic but I think you should sell it if you can. You have had it listed for a few times now, then pulled it and I think it's just not what you want. Lovely ring, but not what you want and that's ok. I don't necessarily think a bigger modern round is going to do it for you. Good luck on the sale!

That's a gorgeous stone. My wife had a 3.03 J SI1 from Whiteflash as her engagement ring (since upgraded to a 4.2ct K Si2 AGS000 through a different vendor) and she got a compliment essentially every day.

It would make a heck of a pendant if someone didn't need a solitare setting!
