Why wouldn''t a long-term presence in Iraq be a good thing? Seems like a great place for a base. A great big one.

MSNBC was looking for a knee-jerk reaction to the pool photo and I''m sure knees were jerking all over the country.

In your thorough read through which parts were of the most concern? You don''t like us pulling out of 34 bases already? Maybe we should continue to hold those?

I''m sure you noticed that the pool part of the original Iraqi base and was not built be the US, right? I''m sure it was an insignificant oversight that the un-biased MSNBC lead the story with the pool photo and the $$ for bases but buried the fact that the US didn''t build the pool.
