My daughter's bf asked me to find him a 2ct stone within his budget so I Emailed Lesley to see if they are expecting any 2ct blue fluor G/H VS coming from the factory soon. About a month ago received an Email from Lesley saying that they are expecting a 2.06 ct blue coming from the factory, and the stone should grade H VS2. Then 2 weeks ago "surprise, surprise!!" the stone came back from AGS as a G VS2 med blue stone. Since Lesley quoted me a price based on an H VS2 stone she said she'll honor the original price. Thanks Lesley your the best!.

btw; this is a true H&A stone!.

The stone is mounted on a size 4.75 six prong PT setting.

Gorgeous ring DF! I hope that your daughter loves it forever (or for a very long time) =)2

DF! What a GREAT choice!!!! You know what a huge fluoro fan I am, and the cut of that diamond is TDF too :appl::appl::appl::appl::appl::appl::appl:. I love that you're going to see that ring on your daughter's finger all of the time and know what a special part you had in securing it for her :kiss2:

And, of course, how exciting for you to know that your daughter is about to be engaged! Does she have any idea??

NOIce!!! well done!!!

woohoo!

Gorgeous stone and ring DF! It must be gratifying for you to be involved in picking out this stone. Well done and congratulations!

Wow DF, beautiful stone!!! Obligatory hand shots once he proposes please! :mrgreen2: Will they be keeping the stone in that setting?

No she doesn't. I'll get to see the ring before she does.

Congratulations on a great stone and (what I assume is) a good deal as well as on the impending engagement!

Exciting. Beautiful ring and congrats to your daughter in advance ❤️

Wow! Can't wait to see pics IRL!

This is literally perfect - nicely done, DF and almost-Son-in-Law! :))

Gorgeous! How wonderful that you were involved in its selection. Can't wait to see pictures - she will be thrilled!

Ooh gorgeous!!! Please share lots of photos with us when the ring arrives and congratulations to the happy couple! Your DD is a lucky girl...she has a loving and supportive father and a loving dh to be who is thoughtful and considerate enough to ask the FIL to be (diamond expert) for his help to make her happy. Nice going all around.:appl:

What a beautiful diamond for your daughter! It's even more special that you helped him choose it, she's very lucky and I'm sure will be elated!

I love fluorescence! That's a beautiful ring, your daughter must be ecstatic.

Beautiful, I thought for a moment you were buying a new stone for yourself too. Hahahah.

 It looks beautiful, DF! Your daughter is a lucky lady!!

IDK. That's the reason I suggested a 6 prong plain PT setting just in case she go with a custom setting. Rule #1...never try to surprise a girl with a $4K custom setting b/c 99% of the time you will regret it! ...there goes $4K down the drain..:(sad

The ring just arrived but I'm not allow to open it. ;(

haha!

I bet it is calling to you from across the room, like The One Ring calls to Gollum from across Middle Earth...

@Dancing Fire Oh just open it! Your soon-to-be son-in-law will just have to get used to not getting his way. After all, he’s about to get married. It comes with the territory.

:lol-2: And yes, I am very much joking!
