So I'm trying a more minimalist approach to the way I wear jewelry,so I got 2 emerald rings for very little indeedIMG_20210824_185631828.jpg

The first being a heart with diamonds on 14k rose gold, basically an engagement ring.

The second is by Budlong, Docherty and Armstrong of Providence RI
.65 carats of Columbian emerald

If anybody could give me an idea of what they might be worth I'd greatly appreciate it.

OP, you may get more responses if you move these threads to Costume Jewelry. The second ring here is definitely costume (simulated or synthetic emerald). The stone in the first ring looks to have an attractive glow, but if you spent "very little" on the ring, it's a pretty sure indicator that the first stone is also simulated or synthetic. If the first ring is really 14k and real diamonds, there are similar rings selling on Amazon for about $300, which would put the resale value around $100. The second vintage ring with no diamonds would be worth around the price of the scrap. There's nothing wrong with costume jewelry, but you should know what you're buying, and the fair market value - and I fear based on earlier threads that this is not the case here.

Gotten very cheaply,I've seen ones like the hearts as well,it may look like costume because it's a baby ring and also kinda in need of a polish

I'll get the bigger one tested, worth a shot,I've seen good pieces of jewelry from BDA,but yur right it looks plain dull like plastic

You should not get either of these rings tested, and you especially should not get the BDA ring tested, as BDA exclusively manufactured costume jewelry.

Thank you very very much, the smaller one costed a lil more, definitely more attractive and cute than the color clashing costume jewelry.

This. The price to get them tested isnt worth it

They are pretty
just enjoy them
(I love seeing a pinky ring )
Have fun
They are both a lovelly bright pop of colour and i must say i do love the first one

So long as you didn't overpay it doesn't matter if the one is costume if you love and enjoy them
Nice named costume jewlery is collectable so will have some value to the right person

Remember real emerald is quite soft so perhaps its good to know one probably isnt

Pretty things do not have to cost a fortune or be worth mega $$$$ to bring joy

Thank you for sharing

Of similar coloration,it's real and from budlongScreenshot_20210825-200321~2.png

Im guessing the bda one is real emerald,it's soft and lacks fire, also draws light in the deepness you'd expect from real emerald
