2 dresses again!!

so i went dress shopping again i wanted to try on some maggie dresses i decideded the tight dress from my last post is out although it looked great i just always pictured myself wearing a "gown" so back to the store this is the maggie i found. im torn between this dress and the demetrois dress i found my last trip. ill post that pic as well. opinions please!! thanks in advance

thanks guys!! i think i really one num 1. the only thing is we thought it came in ivory but it doesn''t shown is in whilte. i can get diamond white. its june so i should have some clolor by then. i love the corset, and beading on the corset! love the lace on the aplicaes and i loove llooovee the lace on the bottom!! i just feel its a little different. i found it online for 850 thats shipping, the cost to special order it to the correct legnth so i don''t have to alter that, i just have to do the bustle when i get it. anyone know how much that is?? and included in the 850 is 50towrds shoes, and 150towards a viel!! a dream come true hahah

now the second one has no corset fits perfect, comes in ivory, and basically is your typical wedding gown simple and classic!!

my BM dresses are a tafeta matierial not satin which makes me feel like the first dress just matches better!!

the only thing that bothers me in dress one is the overlay material, does it make the dress look unfinished and cheap??

I think this is only something you can answer after seeing the dress. The overlay certainly doesn''t look unfinished and cheap in the photo, and all of the Maggie Sottero''s I''ve ever seen have only looked wonderful!!

I personally like #1 better as well, but I think it also depends on what you want the "feel" of your wedding to be. Do you want it to be romantic and dreamy? Then go with #1. If you want chic and sophisticated, then dress #2. Although I don''t know if dress #2 would have as much impact if it''s not in white, and it doesn''t seem you want that.

I like #1 better too. It's softer, more feminine & romantic. #2 is more chic, but IMO this pick up skirt is a little too busy.

Overall I think dress #1 is much prettier. I myself have been on the fence with my opinion of dresses with the bottom skirt fabric being different, so I understand where you''re coming from. You have a better sense of the dress bc you''ve seen it in person...does it flow well? I was a Maggie bride and LOVED my dress, which BTW had pick-ups. My wedding gown''s pick-up''s weren''t as harsh as your dress #2. Harsh isn''t the greatest word but it''s the best way I can describe for now. Good luck!
