Okay, I am not interested in the dress because I am not engaged yet, but I am interested in the story. I know this is nosey, but this is pricescope and somebody is going to ask:
"Why aren''t you wearing this pretty dress?"

LOL - Sorry, no dramatic story, I'm still getting married - just a new dress, something a little less formal!
Here is a pic of the new one - I just fell in love with it!

I'm not wearing the sash in a bow, it's going straight down.

So, as much as I still love the Eve I'm selling, I can only wear one that day and I'm going with a little less formal. So someone will luck out and get to buy a gorgeous dress for less!

oh wow jerseyk8- that dress (the second one) is fantastic!!!!!!

Actually, I have to say that I think the second one is more formal... To me, a mermaid gown can be formal, not traditional, but certainly formal, as this one seems to be... The second gown is exquisite!

Plus the formality of the wedding around you also sets the tone. The majority of very formal weddings I have been to have had mermaid or a-line style gowns, versus ballroom or the like. I just think it''s a different look, and perhaps the second one is more suited to you. I hope we get to see pictures of you in the dress, because I am sure you wear it well! I LOVE THAT SECOND DRESS!

I guess you''re right, I guess when I really look at them both together, they''re both really formal. I guess when I think of poofier, I naturally think more formal. I have my first fitting with the new dress in a couple weeks so I''ll post some!

Thanks for the compliments!

I LOVE the second dress. It is so different!
What are your colors, etc.?

Jorman,
Talk about taking forever for someone to respond

Sorry about that!
The girls are wearing bordeaux dresses and the colors of the flowers will be peaches, yellow and greenery. Something along those lines!

Holy cow!!!! That second one is just gorgeous!!!!!! Who is the designer? I agree that the second one does look formal to me, but I think it is less formal than the first one. Post pics of you in it so we can see how gorgeous you look!!!

Thanks dodger! My new dress is by a designer in Atlanta named Mia Callaway - not very well know but I just fell in love with the dress.

By the way, the Eve is still for sale. It''s really gorgeous - I hate parting with it.
Please email me at [email protected] for more pictures and info.

My 2 cents...Mia Callaway is a fabulous designer. Occasionally, there are brand new samples available on E-Bay. I almost bought one.

I was even contemplating flying to Atlanta from NY to have a dress designed by Mia. Talk about obsessive! I just think they are the most gorgeous creations. No skimping on the fabrics either..

hi i am interested in your eve of milady dress if it is still for sale... do you have any pics you can send me at my email [email protected]? your new wedding dress is quite unique and classic... thanks...

I can''t see the picture of the first dress. Would you mind posting it again so I can see what you passed up?? BTW, love the second dress. It''s very exquisite.

mnawar, email her at the above listed email address because Jerseyk8 hasn''t posted here on PS since June.

Holy Moly! I love that second dress. Does anyone on here know the price range of that Atlanta Designer?

I think she already sold that dress. She is a knottie.. I know she just posted her wedding pics with the Mia Callaway dress recently on the knot, and I hadn''t seen anything about her trying to sell the Eve of Milady in a long time.

~~Jersey, your new dress is gorgeous!!!! Love it!!!!!!
