Happy New Year everyone!
Congrats to everyone who got engaged!!
I''ve spent really great Christmas holidays and two full weeks with my dear boyfriend, so moving back to campus was horribly hard...
There has been a LOT of ring talk during the holidays!!
Even a bit of wedding talk, and we both have the same ideas and want a small, intimate, outdoors wedding.
From what he said, I''m almost positive we will be engaged by our anniversary in August! He even looked briefly at ring online with me... And I think I was successful in knocking into his head that I like three stones and five stones better than solitaires and that he has to EDUCATE himself on diamonds before buying the ring. So, with all this going on, I''m really excited!!
I also need your help. He mentioned planning on spending 1000$ on the ring. It''s not much compared to what we see here on PS, but about three to four times what boys ususally spend on engagement rings in the Québec province and he''s currently in-between jobs so his financial situation is not very stable, so I''m very touched and also a bit at a loss. The rings I''ve found and liked so far are about twice as expensive!
Can anyone help me find nice three stones and five stone rings that would fit his budget? I really like the YG shank and WG prongs look, and I plan on matching it with a plain YG wedding band and I''d like them to sit flush together.
