2ctw diamond stud search - help vetting stones

I'm back to the world of LGDs, looking for a set of 2ctw diamond studs.

I found this set and would love to know all your thoughts.

The second doesn’t have a video, and we never recommend a stone without seeing it. The angles aren’t ideal on either of them anyway.

Do you have a budget? Maybe one of the stud finding experts can help.

I was hoping to keep the budget to around $1,000 for the stones. I would very much appreciate any help.

I agree with 0515 that the angles of those stone ain't the best but that does not mean it will not look good in real life.

The problem is that there is no ideal nor aset scope images for us to help determine whether the diamonds are nicely cut or whether there are light leakages.

To be honest, I would not buy that 2 stones due to lack of more data points to come to a conclusion especially when the angles ain't the best.

Perhaps you can ask dejawiz for help. He seems to be able to seek out pretty nice stones and based on your budget I guess CVDs are the way to go.

Plenty of options within budget on loosegrowndiamond. For clean well cut ones, narrow down the list by filtering for round H&A HPHT. I see matching pairs for as low as 600. There’s a D IF pair with sequential report numbers for 800.

For all my years lurking on this site, I still have not learned how to evaluate a grading report properly beyond plugging numbers into the HCA calculator. If anyone can help me find a a great set of studs, I would be forever grateful.
