Provided the side stones are G/H per GIA standards, you are probably fine with the lab D since IGI is looser with color grading than GIA (so the D might be more like an E or F). Smaller stones always look whiter than larger ones anyway, because of how they handle light play and light return. I wouldn't bee concerned about that/Hi
good question, the .33 diamonds are g/h, not K. So i think they will look ok with the D. but now that you asked, i wonder? maybe it wont.
I am open to ideas
@MissGotRocks brings up a different point, which is that some people prefer their ering to be the STAR of their jewelry. So they may not like their right-hand bling to out shine the ering. And a 2ct bezeled three stone will be huge hand presence compared to a half carat solitaire. I don't think its a rule (if there are any jewelry rules anyway) that the ering has to be the star of the show. But its a good point and worth thinking about how you will feel about it.
EDIT: As an aside I also don't see myself investing tens of thousands into a large diamond either any time soon. I plan to buy a large lab diamond in the next few years to scratch that itch. It makes sense to me! And I am not worried that it will be larger than my natural diamonds, which are my true loves and which hold a different spot in my heart.
