Thank you for all the kind words Mayacamas, SanDiegoLady, swimmer, Tacori E-ring, Sundial, diamondsrock, diamondseeker2006, and Keepingthefaith21. Yes, I just couldn''t take my eyes off the ring. I found myself checking the color change under different light conditions.

diamondsrock, the color of my sapphire is more like a cornflower blue under shaded natural light. It has a very different look under artificial lights. The stone turns a velvetly darker blue with brighter flashes. I took two more pictures to show you the color differences.
