How have you determined it is diamond?
 
Hmmmmm. Even if it were a diamond (most unlikely given its shape and “natural” ? finish) it’s highly flawed and would only be suitable as a specimen.

Your Gem has completely smooth surfaces ie polished. Diamond is the hardest material, abrasion wise, on earth. It cannot be made completely smooth like that in a “natural or raw” state even with billions of years of weathering.
Your gem has all the characteristics of quartz.

That totally looks like quartz. Only reason why I think so is because I collected PLENTY of these as a kid (still have some!!)
