5 pointer on tennis bracelet too dainty?

When I had mine made my jeweler brought in a parcel of diamonds and we sat down and hand picked the ones that I wanted in my bracelet. Is there any way your jeweler would do this?

Iv Taken in what everyone has said and booked an appointment to have a look at bracelet sizes in person,and if i decide what i would like then i will be picking the diamonds!
I dont want to rush so I decided to book an appointment and drive down.

Well, I have a 2 carat preowned designer one and that was my favorite piece for a very long time, I would not have gone bigger. I love the look, yes dainty in a way but what is dainty? Where I live people tend to wear 1 carat ones if any, very few do. It depends on what you like, I love workmanship and quality, in tennis bracelets I prefer a daintier look because many gorgeous small stones give off an amazing sparkle, for a ring I would go as large as I can and then for a choker with a centerpiece somewhere in between, love earrings with very large stones, what is your taste? For everyday wear I do not like too much bling but would rather go with a couple of beautifully made pieces with great stones. Depends on our sizes too,I am quite petite with fine boning. In diamonds to me big and small are equally gorgeous just different but of course all things made equal or say I may prefer a smaller center stone in a piece if the stone has amazing cut and color (for my own wear). We all vary. I fancy fancy colored diamonds and to me a color I love with the cut I love beats larger stones by far. Not even really wearing most of my whites anymore. We change too and where I live very few wear nice diamond jewelry, it may be more culturally acceptable to wear a lot of jewelry in your area. As I said most of the time I wear no more than 2 or 3 beautifully made unique jewelry (to me) as I feel they stand out more this way. So say if I wear a necklace with presence I may only wear small earrings and a smaller rings or one large ring with a daintier bracelet and larger earrings. Combine them with style whatever is your style and you know what pieces are in your collection and what would match it best. Tennis bracelets are expensive because there is a lot of work involved and it is a tedious work to cut all those tiny beauties and match them. A lot of them together have a stunning effect IMHO. If you like bigger and do not want to wait you can always stack later, I think that can look great too, one smaller one stacked with a larger one perhaps in diffferent color gold.

Hey everyone! My bracet arrived today it is quite dainty but I think it's perfect for everyday wear.
Comparing it to my 5 stone ring (0.25 stones) it seems very dainty but I think overall it's a pretty bracelet. Il upload a picture when I get them on the laptop.

Zah zah, thank you for updating - your bracelet looks gorgeous! The stones are 5 points each? Honestly they look bigger! I have small wrists too, and live a lifestyle where a large tennis bracelet would just not get much wear - I think this size looks very elegant and is perfect for everyday wear. I didn't think I wanted a tennis bracelet until I saw this lol!

Although even at some casual occasions I think both the ring and bracelet look a bit much!
