Hi! I search high and low for information on a 7 stone band. Ive settled on a custom from HideSigns on Etsy based out of India.

Ring Size 5.5
Carat .70
7 Natural Diamonds (3mm round stones)
Low profile 1.8 MM high
Tapered on the sides all the way through the bottom of the ring.
They matched the vintage look of my e-ring.

I am currently in search of a spacer band so the diamonds don’t rub the e-ring. My e-ring measures 1.25 and is a basket setting vintage right with baguette sides.

I am in LOVE with this look.

With 3mm diamonds and a ring height wish of 1.8 - how do you feel about the culets touching your finger?
not positive on this - but think it’s a valid concern?

I was worried about that too because I hate feeling anything other than the band between my fingers. However after wearing it for a few days the way it was tappered seems to keep it in place before it even turns. My fingers sit snug inside where it tappers inward. Its actually a perfect design. I have not once had to adjust the diamond part to stay on top of the finger.

The height of your 7 stone (gorgeous btw) looks a lot higher than 1.8? Are you certain it’s only 1.8?

Have you measure your engagement ring to see what height spacer it would allow? Are you looking for a plain spacer?

The side baguettes on my e-ring sit 2mm above the finger. The band diamonds sit lower than that. It measures 1.8 mm above the finger. It was custom made to be super low profile like the e-ring. I’ve ordered a few open band spacers to try. One with a diamonds and one plain. I’ll post pics once I have them in hand.

I had a super thin and super low stacking/spacer band from James Allen. .10 ct U pave. I found it scratched my engagement ring basket :( Just something to consider. I didnt notice until the damage was done, but the scratches did polish out, thankfully.
You have a lovely set and I hope you find a spacer that you love.

Everything it seems is trial and error. Appreciate the info. Thank you.

Try a closed knife edge spacer if the open design doesn't end up working. Look for a design that is a little taller- it will look more unobtrusive if you want it to blend in... The great thing is you can obtain them pretty cheaply. I ended up just having fun with it going with an ourboros(Agatha there in my avatar) as my 'main catchall spacer'. Oops, grabbed yellow examples! Well, you know what I mean :))

Thank you for the recommendations. I think what has been hard is the basket setting sits right on my finger. Anything that touches it tends to dent it inward. I’ve tried a few options for 1mm spacers and curved spacers. Nothing looked right. So now I’m going to try open gap bands. If not I will try your recommended.

I think it's really cute! But more importantly, what do you think?
I happen to like gaps and I like the uniqueness of it. What say you?

I think it looks unique. It serves its purpose. The gap doesn’t bother me as much as I thought it would. I think it looks better with no spacer ring. But so I really want to risk messing up the basket setting?
