7 Year Anniversary Disaster

Hi Ladies,

Well yesterday was our 7 year anniversary and I had been HOPING that it may be proposal day...... However, things did not go as expected......

Friday night I went out with some friends for a meal and to the theatre. During the interval of the show I was seeing I started to feel really sick and had to leave, I then proceeded to throw up in the street on the way back to my car Realised I must have caught the vomiting bug that had been going around my class (I''m a teacher.) I was then ill all Friday night and spent all day Saturday fast asleep in bed. Wouldn''t let my BF anywhere near me as didn''t want him to catch it aswell.
Then to top it all off I had a dream that he took me to a really nice beach at night and had written "Marry Me " in the sand. It was so real! I even was thinking in my sleep, "Wow I''ll have a lot to tell people at work on monday, a sickness bug and getting engaged in one weekend!"

I feel so sad We had planned to go out on Saturday night but of course we couldn''t.

Am beginning to feel little better. Have eaten some jelly this morning as it''s all I fancy and so far it''s not come back up! Must be on the mend.

So at the moment, no closer to getting engaged. Am going to go and read through threads now because I haven''t been on for a week or so, will see if there ae any other lucky ladies! Well, luckier than me!!

I hope you''re better now. I''m sorry you didn''t get the anniversary you were hoping for. Do you guys have a timeline? (sorry, I''m not following the stories very well) Maybe he''s got something planned!

I know I shouldn''t laugh, but I did! You''re ill! The fact that you ordered the most expensive thing on the menu shouldn''t be crossing your mind.

I do hope that you''re feeling even better today. What an...interesting anniversary. I hope that you are able to celebrate again since this wasn''t quite you imagined it.

Ugh, stomach bugs are the worst. You''re nice to protect your BF from illness!

But I wouldn''t consider you an unlucky lady -- you''ve got a BF whom you love and have been with for 7 years!! That''s a huge accomplishment.

And who knows? When you''re all better maybe you''ll get that beach proposal.
