9-11 Never Forget!!!!!

Thank you Karl.

We wil never, EVER forget the bravery of those who perished that day.

another year has passed time to remember and....
never forget!!

I am glad I am here for another anniversary of September 11, so that I can praise the memories of those who gave their lives to help others: the firefighters and other first responders. So that I can praise the memories of the brave airline passengers on Flight 93 who rebelled against evil and fought against the hijackers. So that I can praise the memories of the brave people who perished at the Twin Towers and at The Pentagon under clouds of dust, but surely with an inner light of the Lord within them.

Beautiful words, Deb. Bless the families who lost a piece of themselves that day, and may they draw comfort from an entire people's memory of their loved ones.

Lord
Bless and comfort the families affected by the September 11th attacks.
Keep them safe and hold them in your loving arms.
Let them know that we are thinking of them this day.

Lord I ask your protection for those fighting terrorism all over the world.
Guard them and protect them and keep them safe.

Lord please bless the U.S.A and keep her safe.

In Jesus’ name
Amen!
Amen!!!!!!!!

I looked for this thread very early this morning, then had to run out. I must have overlooked it. I was so comforted to come back home and see it. Thank you, Karl.

Welcome.
I went to bed early last night so was late posting it.
I usually post it at 1201am cst but I was sound asleep at that time this year.

What a beautiful tribute. Lest we forget ;(

I remember that day so vividly, coming downstairs as a teenager and seeing my father almost in tears on the couch. He had turned on the TV to watch the early news and initially he thought it was a hollywood movie. He could not believe that this could be real. We literally sat stunned in shock and horror. I could have no idea then, that 11 years later my own husband would go to war himself against this evil. I pray to NEVER see such tragedy happen again.

Thank you so much Karl. What a beautiful tribute.

13 years.

I have sent the day alternately in tears and prayers.

I will NEVER forget {and I sure as hell will NEVER FORGIVE}.

We will never forget. . .

Thank you.

Thank you for this every year Karl.

Remembering that day from this side of the Atlantic, we also stand with you against such mindless acts, and share your sadness.

It feels like yesterday in many respects. A surreal nightmare and the world is forever changed. Thank you for posting this thread every year Karl.

Not just on September 11 each year, but throughout the year, my thoughts go to that terrible day.
Sending comforting thoughts and prayers.

Still, no words :blackeye:

I was late getting to the computer today, but as soon as I had the chance i came to Hangout to look for this thread.

Karl, it is so beautifully conceived. Thank you. When I come here on 9/11, now, before I even arrive at Pricescope, I remember the names of Kaleigh's friends who perished on that day. She has made them a part of my memory, too. And I always think of the firefighters first. They were not the only heroes, but they were heroes.

Blessings to all people of good will.

It is a day that is etched into my mind...thinking of all those that lost family, friends, and loved ones. All Americans lost something that day.

We will never forget....

Thank you Karl - My heart still breaks when I think of that terrible day, so much loss and pain, so many lives devastated. I will always remember...

Thank you again this year, Karl. This is one of the first threads I always think of every year. I feel a lot of guilt over 9/11, and I don't share that story but of course I think about what happened that day and how I felt and why. I can't believe it's been 16 years. There are teens alive now that don't even know what that day felt like. One of the worst days in my life as a mother, and wife. I won't ever forget.

Yes, thank you. I know we can count on you every year to pause and remember.
