A Collection of Halos

2 carat pear, tiny halo.

I will be getting my new halo ring sometime soon and would like to show it off on this site. However, I've never taken pictures of jewelry and I'm not sure how to show it off at its best. I have Cannon A-1100 IS. I know nothing about lighting, distance, zoom, settings etc. Help! or am I beyond help?

I know I'm a couple mos late...but we just picked up my ring from the jeweler (we had it custom designed) so I had to share! She's a round brilliant center stone with square halo. The halo is a little thicker than I wanted, but it does look more proportionate in person than in the pictures. Thanks for looking!

Sorry if there are too many pictures. I haven't uploaded since this the upgrade of P.S.
I realized I hadn't shown the reset of my pear. There are before and after pictures. it's hard to take a good picture, but I like the new setting way better. It's inspired by Lauren B. I think I have over two carats in the setting. Vs, E-f color stones. The pear itself is 2.08. The big round diamond is my sister-in-law's 6.30 diamond. It is incredible. The other shot is a bunch of my halo ring. There are a couple that are not halo.
