A blog I read recently had a guest writer and fantastic photographer Jessica Clair on to talk about photography. I happened over to her personal site and came across a stunning photo documentary of her friends'' engagement. The photos are so beautiful and since photography a hobby of mine is a I thought the idea was really cute. Not to mention the great shot she got of the ring!!

Beautiful pictures! Did I read incorrectly or does that photographer charge $15000 to shoot a wedding?! She is good but, $15000???? Thats a little steep isnt it? Wowza...

I saw that too. Of course I haven''t priced any wedding photographers lately.... haha.... but that seemed a little daunting to me as well! From some of the posts I read it seems like that is on thee starting end of it. Yikes!!

The starting end?!!! OMG...I can't imagine paying that much for a photographer...and I am one of those that would be willing to spend good money on one. Yikes. If that is true, I might be using disposables...

I''m a little emotional in general lately--- however the slide show made me tear up just a bit. Just the pure joy and love on their faces is just very touching.... what a unique (and appropriate) engagement story for them.

Jessica Claire was named one of the top 10 photographers--- IN THE WORLD.

She definately earns her $15k!! Her pictures are amazing.........!! I agree it''s a load of money-- but hey if you have the money to spend.. do it! I highly suspect though that many of her friends get discounts. Look through her gallery and blogs.. she knows many of them personally.

i guess she isn''t a starving artist hmm??

Also, the video made me cry. It was so effing cute!! She looked so happy and excited!!!
