Hey ladies,
Just wanted to stop by and let you all know I'm standing on the sidelines cheering my head off for y'all.
I got engaged and left the list back in January, but am having a long engagement (wedding is Oct. 2011), so I feel like I dont really fit in at BWW, nor do i truly fit here, but I lurk constantly! reliving vicariously through you guys until I can really get into the wedding planning schtick. Just wanted to send some dust to all of you, and let ya know it's worth the wait!!!!!

I feel the same way! FI and I are planning to get married next year, but we're kind of stuck in limbo now when it comes to heavy planning or setting a date (for various reasons). So while I like to look at wedding stuff, I can't actually take any action. So I feel kind of out-of-place here and there. At least you have a date. I can't count the number of times we've been asked if we've set a date yet!

I hated that at first. People asked as soon as they found out we were engaged. It's like "helllllllo! can we take a breather please?!", but now that we've set a date we get the "Why so far away" "why don't you do it this october", and so on and so forth. I'm a little disillusioned at this point.

I totally hear you! People were asking us about a date less than 24 hours after he proposed (some people were even asking us about it before we were officially engaged!)

Ill take all the dust i can too, no idea when the SO will ask, but hopefully soon....birthday is in a month, and than a trip after that...
