A little pansy to brighten up the day

My little pansy is here, and she has the distinction of being my first sapphire ring! The stones are the loveliest shade of blue and seem to glow from within.

Stats: old Victorian conversion, possibly from a stick pin. Rose cut diamonds and old cut sapphires are set in sterling silver, and the shank is 18k yellow gold. Carat weight unknown.

It was a conversion from an old Victorian component, probably done in the '30s or '40s, so before my time. I bought it from an antique jewelry shop.
