There were some verrrry impressive round brilliants in the window - none of them under 3 carats, all great color and clarity. It's a small store and doesn't have the variety that Leviev or Graff has. I'm not sure how well the store will do, considering that a lot of people resent The Donald so much. Another jewelry store named DiModolo will be opening soon - right across the street from Leviev. It looks like there will be some intense competition.
The Palm Court in the Plaza Hotel is open again. They did a marvelous job on the renovations. A lot of the work still hasn't been completed, but the hotel will be as splended as it always was when everything is done.
Big disappointment: I saw "Cat on a Hot Tin Roof", but James Earl Jones wasn't in the performance. I overheard people in the lobby saying that he's missed several performances lately. The understudy did fairly well and the rest of the cast was great.
