A very pretty purple sapphire

Hello, I've been lurking here for a while. I just want to share one of my gemstones that has a rather different inclusion pattern, which makes it look like Van Gogh's Starry night, at least imo.

As indicated on the AIGS report, it's an unheated Kashmir Sapphire.

What are your thoughts?

Very attractive and interesting.
The clarity is virtually non existent however that two tone look and mysterious looking galaxy within makes it a fabulous gem.
Are you planning on setting it?

I think the inclusions add personality to the gem! It's actually quite a transparent gem despite having inclusions/ duo-tone pattern. I do want to set it on a ring but I need to find a good jeweler who could do that at an affordable price in Hong Kong. Any suggestions?

I think this setting (which I found on Pinterest) would look really nice on the stone.

Some of those "inclusions" might be cracks. Make sure your bench person is knowledgable about colored stones and can make a reasonable educated guess as to whether or not this sapphire would be able to withstand the setting process.

I'm guessing this sapphire isn't from the old classic Indian Kashmir occurrences, but from a more recent discovery in the Batakundi area in Pakistan. See the link below:

Not really "gem" grade, imo.

This is one of those instances where I do not think Kashmir origin enhances the value, which would be very modest.
