What is this? It's SO beautiful!
This is @NKOTB ’s cuprian tourmaline in TGP setting: https://www.pricescope.com/community/threads/3-04-cuprian-tourmaline-set-in-dk-tgp.218074/page-2What is this? It's SO beautiful!
Whahaha, I can completely understand why you have a steady growing CS collection.@Acinom I love ECs, however I cannot resist a good heart. Luckily, hearts are not that common in CSs!

I'll do a few posts, including going back and getting shapes I've missed..
Unusual shape, kryptonite-green tsavorite cut by Jerry Newman..
Unheated lavender sapphire that's a cross between an asscher and an emerald, from Leenagemslk on Instagram, who has become one of my favorite colored stone vendors...
In the sunlight, ugh so beautiful
Elongated yellow zircon emerald from Gemland on gemrockauctions. This is an amazing stone with tons of dispersion, looks like a vivid yellow diamond. Vendor photo very accurate to real life
Pair of elongated mixed cut blue zircon cushions also from Gemland
Lagoon tourmaline from Haris_gems_93, recut by Dan Stair, next to two multi-sided rholodite garnets from Stylogems. Tourmaline shifts green in incandescent light
Mint tourmaline, cross between an asscher and an emerald, from greyhoundgirl on Loupetroop. This is a tourmaline with very pleasant shift in incandescent light
Pear-cut aquamarine from Aspire auctions, they have amazing vintage colored stone auctions at very reasonable prices. Jerry Newman is taking a look at this right now to see if the window can be closed without desaturation, and then I am resetting it into a copy of my dream aquamarine ring
Super vivid pink and red spinel 3mm melee from stellarmarisgems2
Zircon and tanzanite I've already shown, next two a pair of pinkish spinel cushions from Mr.Spinel and 4mm jedi cushions from Hi Gems. The Jedi are much closer to the same color in real life.
These pictures are in the order I found them on Google Photos (reverse chronological order). Not particularly sorted.
First up is a spess pear that's wonderfully glowy and perhaps my favorite among all spess in my possession. (Unfortunately my phone doesn't capture orange that well.) Hoping to eventually set it with mint garnet and spinel melee.
Probably before setting the spess, I'd like to get my pear paraiba set. I'm thinking to go all cool tones with Afghan emeralds, cobalt spinels.
I love my crown ring. It's one of the most unique rings in my collection, and from beginning to end the color combinations and layout were my design and turned out quite well (CRD produced the work, and I love the setting and the milgrain). I also love the simple, elegant small but mighty three-stone ring designed by Yvonne and Cecile Raley Designs.
Another view of my crown ring under LED lighting. Also visible are the Maharani camellia ring set with an intense red Mahenge spinel, and my Esmeralda ring, which has a Columbian cushion emerald and yellow diamonds.
Next, @Acinom and @Polyhex, this is what I'm going to do with the héliodor. Geometric and bold color blocking design with white diamonds and other colors of beryl (emerald and aquamarine). This project is going to have to wait for sometime after my oval sapphire project (see below).
My first two ring designs that I ever sketched, executed exquisitely by Enhoerning Jewelry with the ruby and cadillac diamonds sourced by her. The one without diamonds is a Jedi spinel sourced by thegemcollector, in a color combo that's one of my favorites--red, lavender, and mint green.
A lovely pear aquamarine from Mastercut Gems set with Afghani emeralds and silver spinels by Daniel M Jewelry.
My fanciest pear that I've set so far. Pear is a green paraiba from Brazil, and the graduated halo is made of blue paraibas from Brazil.
This is the layout for my oval unheated Ceylon sapphire. I wanted to do something special that combined shapes. It won't have the yellow and pink because I'm afraid they won't be vivid at that size, but it'll have pear cut diamonds, oval sapphire, princess cut rubies, and round emeralds, rubies, red spinels.
Spot the fancy shapes yet? I decided to use a pair of kite diamonds as side stones for my small but mighty unheated Burmese sapphire, and then had halos around all three stones. I really love the design and the quality of the work from Enhoerning Jewelry's bench.
