Ahhh, I love the midwest and our weird weather -- just minutes ago, DH startled me by yelling out "OH MY GOSH LOOK OUT THE WINDOW!!!" - there were the biggest flakes we''ve ever seen.

Btw, we didn''t even have a White Christmas this year, even though we had more than 60 total inches this winter!! I find it a little funny.

Anyone else experiencing a "White Easter"???

Awww, sounds beautiful though! Last week it was around 60 - we were running around without coats and having a blast going on walks and enjoying the weather. I have no doubt that we''ll have warm weather again soon - such is spring in the heartland :)

I''m actually super jealous!!!!!!! Snoooowww! I miss the snow so much...In SoCal all you get is either hot or hotter.

lol El, it''s done the same thing on and off here since this morning. Weird!

Aw, I''m sorry for your snow.. it was amazing here today. This entire weekend has been the most beautiful in months. We went to La Jolla and it says it was only 70, but just had to be higher. Here at home however, its 91.. Its magnificent.

There were three youngish college age gals at the beach and they asked us if we were locals.. yes, we replied happily.. they announced, we''re from New Jersey!!! I said wow, they''re going to be jealous back home when they get your pictures! lol

Happy Easter :)

My parents are in southern IN and my mom emailed me a few hours ago to say that they had a really pretty snowfall this morning along with a strange fog. She said she took pics because it was such a weird bit of weather. It was sunny here in Chicagoland today, but I did see a tiny bit of snow around 4.

we had about 5 inches fall here in MI between friday and saturday, so yeah, we had a white easter

haha

We also had a white Easter here in Minnesota. It began snowing on Friday morning, continued all day Saturday, and finally quit Sunday evening. Not much accumulation because the ground was warm enough to melt a lot of it after it hit.

We had snow here yesterday, about three inches. It was still here most of the day until it melted. It is warmer here now (at 8:45pm) then it was earlier today.

Better snow than rain, right? It''s been icky on and off here in NW Oregon. But we always have rain, so it isn''t like we were surprised.

Apparently it snowed in Atl this morning, so dh reported. I'm in n ga and it's just a bit chilly. We have a freeze warning for tonight. I need to go bring in my one pot of little flowers that aren't pansies.

Ohh, I think I made a funny. Get it, "pansies."

So, tomorrow is supposed to be sunny and in the mid-50''s-60''s - but then we have a chance of flurries again in the weekend. I think there IS something to be said for living somewhere without such crazy rollercoaster weather!

I just saw this thread. I almost posted the same topic last night when it started snowing here. We had a green (okay brown) Christmas and a white Easter too. It melted within 30 minutes late this morning, though. I was driving to an appointment and I could literally see it melting, and it was completely gone within 30 minutes. Kind of neat to see actually.

Don''t like the weather? Wait 30 minutes!!
