* My husband had his set of keys in the pocket of his ski jacket yesterday when he went out to shovel the driveway, walkways, and patio. He managed to lose them in the snow!!!!!!!!! We've looked, but I guess we'll have to wait until all the snow melts before they turn up. They've got to be out there somewhere.

That happened to me several years ago with my wedding ring (flew off when I removed my gloves). I had to wait 6 weeks for a thaw and then acquire a metal detector to locate it in the front bushes.
Oh no, GK, thank goodness you found it!!! The keys should be easy enough as they are a pretty big collection of them.

If we don't find them, I'm sure the lawnmower will.

You''re online early DL. Good luck with the key search.

I''m an early bird,GK.

I get up by 5:00 a.m. to get a couple hours of work in before the rest of the family stirs, but I always check on PS while my coffee is brewing.

I just told my husband about your wedding ring mishap. He said he is going to ask some buddies at work if they have a metal detector. I did not think of this before, but both his car key and mine (both on his ring) have those fancy alarm buttons right on the key. If they get water damaged/broken, they are expensive to replace.

It''s probably too late to worry about that, but if we can get a metal detector and find them before the thaw, maybe they''ll still work(?).
