Hi all! I found Pricescope when I was educating myself on diamonds and trying to get ideas of what I like(since I suspect a proposal within a year, I suppose). My boyfriend and I met in college and we''ve been dating for 4 years since. We''ve never lived together. In fact, I''ve been doing volunteer work in Africa for the past year and a half and I''ve only seen him once when he came to visit me for a month. But I''ll be visiting the states for Christmas and I''m home for good this upcoming summer. It''s going to be awfully strange moving in together as I''ll be readjusting to life back home as well as sort of getting my "feel" of the relationship all over again. At the same time, it''s sooo exciting to think about! People have asked me how we''ve survived the distance and time apart. There''s a real sense of trust and friendship between us that I never imagined I''d find in a relationship. He''s hinted towards a proposal either this December or this summer when I return. I''d rather not know the specific time since I''d like it to be somewhat of a surprise. We''ve remained in constant contact and we''re both certain that we want to spend the rest of our lives together. This seems like such a fun and helpful community that I couldn''t help but join in.
