I prefer the ring with the simpler shank. I think it will put the focus on the stone itself. The twigs look very detailed but I don't know if you'll get a view of them when you wear the ring because the stone itself is so large.

I agree Lovinggems! And so does the jeweller: he will indeed created a 'sculpted' 10 sided round inner bezel to highlight the beautiful shape of the stone.

Excellent!
Thank you Mochiko. I can hardly wait for this stone to be set by Victor, but I need to be patient. What's on your list currently?mochiko42 said:Oh, that electric blue topaz is gorgeous!! It will look great in a halo
Ricezo: aww, thank you for your kind words. Doug did such a great job.ricezo said:Oh they are both so beautiful!
Aussiejamie: thank you for your kind words! I am so fond of blue: the color of the sea, the sky, a swimming pool etc. Unfortunately I have never see glacier ice caves in real life. I am looking forward seeing the stones on my finger.aussiejamie said:They are truly stunning stones.
The darker blue reminds me of the color in a glacier ice cave!

I will not see the stones unset with my own eyes Sparkliesluver. The stones will be send to Victor and David and then the long long wait begins. Since all blues indeed are a good match with my skintone, I am confident that I love these after they are set.SparkliesLuver said:Oh, wow, Acinom. I absolutely love both of them, and how wonderful that they're so different! Both will go so well with your skin tone. I cannot wait to see your hand shots - do you have them yet? :naughty
Thank you Arkieb. It will at least be a good test in patiencearkieb1 said:Stunning additions to your collection!!! Can't wait to see them set
Thank you for your kind words Stone Hunter. The electric blue will be set in a cushion halo Emilya (the 'twisted' version) by Victor Canera:Stone Hunter|1435099609|3893228 said:You have an AMAZING collection and these two stones will fit right in! I am interested in how you plan to set the electric blue stone...did you post setting ideas or will that be another thread?

Thanks for sharing as it is a great looking stone.
