Advice on 0.9 ct to 1 ct ideal-cut diamond

Hi all, I''m new to choosing diamonds and frankly have limited knowledge when it comes to doing so. Nonetheless, I hope to be able to choose the perfect diamond for the planned proposal, so that it will look great on her. Any advice or comments on the two stones which I found on WF will be greatly appreciated!

I would get the one that you feel is more comfortable for your budget. They are both gorgeous stones.

Is there a reason you are preferring an F VS2? If you are sold on this color/clarity combo, then I would choose stone #1 because it is a rare size and will not look any different than the second diamond (only .2mm difference in diameter) but costs a lot less. I personally would have a hard time spending an extra $2000 for that extra .2mm.

Buuuut if you are not obsessed with an F colour and VS2 for any particular reason (I can't think of a good reason personally

), I would consider these:

But then I am a size girl

I own a J color and cannot ever see any colour in it, so I would go bigger and go down in colour personally.

What are your girlfriend's feelings about colour/knowledge of diamonds? Most women see BIG and SPARKLY... heck, most people see that. So I'd get the biggest super-ideal cut stone that fits in your budget.

I prefer the WF diamond, the cut is better.
