advice on solasfera

Hi all! Wanna seek you guys advice! I am getting a .64 e Vvs2 solasfera tml! Question is how to tell a good solasfera from a bad 1 under the scope etc? Anythings to look out for when choosing a solasfera? Thanks all!

I didn't know there was such a things as a "bad" Solasfera.

Every Solasfera will meet the cut specifications of the brand.
You only have to decide what color and clarity you want.

E VVS2 is very high and expensive, and does not make the diamond's light performance any better.

If you haven't done this already please go out and see diamonds of various colors and clarities in person.
Only then will you know if an E VVS2 is worth (to YOU) what you have to pay in dollars and carat weight.

Pretty much... yeah. Go to Good Old Gold's website and you can look at all the Solasfera's they have. They very much look the same across the board. These are precision cut stones - with exacting tolerances. They take pride in their light return, and wouldn't let a dud out the door.

Look at the certificates or information they come with - they are all cut to fairly high specs and offer top white light return - but yes I think you can get double excellent ones versus one that might be classed as very good for something like symmetry on GOG's website.

Look at the way GOG classifies them. I think there would be very little in it visually but I wonder if we can assume one with excellent symmetry, excellent polish would be marginally better than one with very good symmetry, and very good polish. It possibly doesn't matter much, the white light return on all of them are up in the top categories.

is it true that all solasfera have 10 perfectly cut arrows and hearts? because mine has 1 heart that the side doesnt look normal which is like poorly cut. Is it still safe to buy it considering that is it solasfera? Thanks!

Do you have an picture or an ASET image of it? If the diamond is .64 I doubt it is going to be much of a concern in real life.

I got a .6 e Vs2 it was way cheaper! Haha anyway its double excellent just got the problem with 1 of the heart. So should I get it or look for others?

Not if you don't post either an image or a link to the stone on GOG's site.

You have to make sure that the image of the hearts isn't tilted when it was taken.

Hmm i don't see it! Which heart do you mean?

Also remember hearts are only seen from the bottom, so it really doesn't matter much!

For a video, have you looked on Youtube for Good Old Gold videos to see if they have any? A while back, I thought I saw some that compared Solasferas to other rounds, but I can't be sure.

Just buy it.
It's a Solasfera.
