Advice, please

I too am a pricescope addict and I believe that the best advice that I can get is from you ladies (and gentlemen).

First of all let me give a little bit of background. I am have been dating a fantastic man since May 05'. We have discussed a potential engagement for some time now. However when I look at the situation in retrospect, It seems that I am the one that has always brought it up,not him. I know that men are different, and my guy is usually very sweet, but it makes me think that maybe I want this more than him. (However I should also add that when I bring up engagement he is more than willing to talk about it. )
Maybe I am just trying to find faults in a guy that has always been faultless to me. But he never mentions "us "in the future, he doesn't bring up engagement, marriage, or kids unless I do.
Geesh typing this up kind of scares me! Yikes.
I am going to be thirty soon(hes 34), and I want to things to progress here. Originally we had spoken about a before 2007 engagement, however I am becoming skeptical and confused. Worse yet, I think that i am starting to hold some hard feelings against him for what appears to be his lack of interest.

. Could it be cold feet?

Maybe he feels like he doesn''t have to bring it up because he feels like your discussions that you initiate are good enough.

You might try asking him casually if there is a reason he never brings it up.

If you had discussed a 2006 proposal, maybe you can ask him if he is still planning to stick to that time line.
