P.S. I was happy to hear you''re studying for a job you love. Personally I''m a big believer in following your dreams, although it''s certainly not always easy, takes a lot of courage - especially in these times - and often requires living on a tight budget. I just think, and it''s also my personal experience, that it pays off in the long run.

Wowzers! I keep coming back to look at this thread to see each new picture you post. I honestly can not tell a size difference between the rb and the OMC on your finger. Plus, those chunky facets show so much sparkle and color it''s breathtaking(I''ve NEVER gotten the fascination with seeing arrows). My hubby even said WOW when I showed him your pictures. Would he be that impressed with arrows? I think NOT.


Your ring is perfection and it sounds like it was meant to be. I love with the perfect diamond ends up with it''s perfect owner. Almost like kismet.

but now that it''s here, I really don''t mind the slight rectangle shape at all. I think it
may help with making it look a lil bigger too....?

So, I braved the surbuban jungle today - angry bees, swooping birds and strange looks

- and came back with....well, alot of pics, lol!


Firstly, some pretty lavender bushes - I did try to take pics in the natural
state to start with...

But after I got dive-bombed by about 9 angry bees, I decided to pick some and stage my
shots instead, lol - waaay too dangerous!

It was really pleasant to find a lovely native garden down the street..
and a really interesting subject in a Banksia flower (you don''t usually
see these in the ''burbs)..

But, because it was a native garden there were birds everywhere, and I was
so paranoid my sparkly was going to get swooped up!

[Just for the record though, all the gardens I photo are on the outer side of the fences, and the friendly folks who owned them offered for me to pick all the lavender and Banksia as much as I liked - just because I know we have lots of PS ladies who like
to garden, and my behaviour could very likely really frustrate them, lol!..]
