Hello. I have been on this here a while I see. I was searching the internet the past year like I always do on all the lab sites listed here incase I found some profoundly great deal to bring to my fiancé.
I saw an IGI Hearts and Arrows report with a round lab diamond on a site that I was a little confused by. I see that IGI is now including in the newer, my report dated December 30, 2024, a Report grade for Light Performance, Brightness, Fire and Contrast from Low to exceptional. The round 4.24ct I bought was a Hearts and Arrows I should add because through my searching that was the only H&W lab diamond I found and only one that had the extra grading given on their reports.
My 4.24ct is a F, VSI, Ideal, 2EX on symmetry and Polish, No flouresence,
Says Hearts & Arrows, with the two red pictures showing me the Symmetry and the Ideal scope image.
My lab received a grade of Exceptional in all four categories. Funny thing is under where it says Hearts and Arrows it says
"Comments: HEARTS & ARROWS
This Laboratory Grown Diamond was created by Chemical Vapor Deposition (CVD) growth process Type IIa."
I find it odd this doesn't say "and may include post growth treatment type IIa".
On my other Round IGI lab grown report I bought in December off 2023 which is not a H&A lab it says,
"Comments: This Laboratory Grown Diamond was reated by Chemical Vapor Deposition (CVD) growtt process and may include post-growth treatment
IIa.
Now I only use Stonealgo as a guide but gave my 4.24ct Round lab I just bought a score of a 9.2.
Halloway gave it a cut advisor score of a 1.1
And it was in the light mint green for GIA- and in the White for AGS - both highest.
The stats of my newly purchased lab as of yesterday-
Found it very interesting to see a light scintilatiion Report for IGI now in those four categories that get a grade. The H&W in red and my question is this something new IGI is putting on all their round lab reports, just the H&A reports or even the fancy cut lab diamonds?
And how did I do buying my second LAB diamond on impulse? I did not buy a setting with it.
I want to take time and see where all of you got your semi mounts for loose labs you bought??? I don't know if I made a mistake there and should have just bought the setting from the same place because I did like it and it was $650 for a 14k white gold Euro shank six prong. I don't know if I should email them back and buy the setting too from them or wait and see what great ideas you all had.
Thank you!
