Amethyst ring set (photos)

I purchased this amethyst stone from an IG vendor. It is from Nigeria, 4.715 carats and roughly 12 x 10. Its "native" cut but I think it looks pretty nice, and it was very very affordable.

I decided to have it set for a close friend since its her birthstone. My jeweler helped me select an affordable sterling silver semi mount from Stuller (#70531). My bench jeweler set it here and I picked it up yesterday! Cant wait to give it to her!
