Hello,

It''s our 8 year anniversary next Saturday and we''ve been talking about presents.

I don''t want either of us to spend to much as we''ve been buying a lot of furniture and stuff for the house (Lady K I broke my no kitchen wares fast last night... and it was Sooooooo good!

) ... and still need some more.

So I was thinking a max of a hundred each. Perferably fifty.

I need to give him options that I want and pick something for him.

SO... here are my ideas:

For me:

Refurbished Ipod as I''m going to be working out A LOT. Nano for about 100 bucks from the Apple store.

The candlesticks below (all of them) from Crate and Barrel which I ''ve been eyeing for a while and want for my christmas table centerpiece (not for dinner... just while the house is decorated). About a 100 bucks.

Or... something else (Suggestions??)

For him...

Well, he wants one of those little mini wine cellar. Which I could get him-- I have a 100 dollar gift certificate to CB and I add a 100 (so REALLY it''s 100 out of pocket

) to get this for him.

Or... something else.

Suggestions? Ideas? Help?

What, no jewelry???

I like the C&B ideas, though, those are durable things that you''ll get years of enjoyment from.

I love c&b stuff too. Plus I always love the idea of having something that will last forever so whenever you see them you can remember 8 years together.

Do you have a sam''s club? I know they have wine fridges that are very inexpensive.

I would love to buy some jewelry but... with the budget I'm keeping us to... not going to happen. We are also celebrating by doing day trips on my vacation time at the beginning of July (FIVE days off!!! Includes weekend and 4th of July-- but still-- YAY!). So I really don't want to spend too much as we are going to Napa one day, Marin another, and Carmel the next.

Unless someone knows of a good jewelry deal for 100 bucks? I would love some small huggies in WG with diamonds (but nothing I've seen for less than 700 dollars).

Oh... I forgot to attach the CB candlesticks pic.
And the wine cellar link:

I think she has a Costco membership.

OH YEAH DO I EVER!

We just did a tasting at Rosenblum vineyards and bought three bottles-- PLUS signed up for their wine club membership... so we're good on wine... plus we have some bottles from previous Costco excursions.
I would like a nice bottle of champagne though.

I love it too! I even went when I was in Hawaii.

I bet if you made a trip there you would find lots of things you like! I love everything there; I am sure they have a wine fridge.

For jewelry around $100, maybe some WG hoops from bluenile, or (if you could have them set for a reasonable price), you could get some gemstones to made studs with...

Aren''t they lovely? I have been covetting those for a while now.

As for earrings... I am hoping for copies in 14K of either of these styles (but as huggies preferably) for Christmas:

I just don''t want to pay Tiffany''s prices-- new or used-- for them.
