That is really cute. FI and I met at Virginia Tech and he really wants to enter to Enter Sandman by Metallica because that is the song they play when all the football players run into Lane Stadium for home games... just the intro, not the whole song. Everyone in the stands jump up and down and it pumps everyone up. I don''t know if the older guests will get it though... hmmm. I would like to use the fight song but I think I would start balling because the last time I hear it was at my friend''s memorial service and I am going to be sad already because he won''t be thereDate: 6/28/2007 4:44:33 PM

My hubby is a huge Ohio State football fan.. so we used Hang on Sloopy for the bridal party... and then the Ohio State Fight Song for our entrance..
Do you or you hubby have a fave sports team??? that might make it fun...
Oooh, I like those two choices together - great ideas So_happy! I''m adding them to my list. I liked Beautiful Day too... My other idea was Start Me Up by the Rolling Stones (my dad loves them)!Date: 6/29/2007 6:08:39 AM

I second ''Let''s get this party started'' by Pink!!
I worked a wedding a couple weekends ago and they used this and it actually made ME want to dance! It really works well if your bridal party is into it, too. Thiers pretty much danced thier way out on the dance floor in thier intro and after all of them had been introduced, the bride and groom were introduced to Beyonce''s ''Crazy in Love''. Both songs are VERY energetic, upbeat, and totally deliver thier messages at the same time. Guests were dancing and clapping at the same time. It was truly celebratory!!
My BP would totally get into this and I''ve always liked ''crazy in love'' so I''m using both of these songs for my wedding for the intros.
We are having a cocktail reception, too, so we really need the party feel to get sort of kicked off right away. We will be playing mostly latin/salsa music during the cocktail hour as that music is just always so upbeat and makes me wanna start dancing, altho it will be at a lower volume than the rest of the evening. Then, the intro songs, and then the other fun stuff (some rock, oldies, top 40, pop, r n b even, more latin beats, and even some fun country music). It''ll be eclectic for sure but should make everyone happyDate: 6/29/2007 8:41:29 AM
