Sorry guys! I''m going to a wedding next weekend, and I have one more question before I stop bugging you. Is it incredibly rude/tacky to wear a black and ivory dress to the day-after brunch? I''m not 100% the B&G will be there, but even so...does the "no wearing white" stop after the actual wedding or after the wedding weekend?

Thanks for all your help. I just hate the idea of violating a rule that I don''t know exists and having everybody think I''m rude.

Good question! I would think that it''s okay to wear your balck and ivory dress the following day. Even if the bride and groom were there, I wouldn''t think anything of it. I''m pretty sure the "no wearing white rule" pertains only to the wedding and probably the rehearsal dinner too. DO you have a picture to post? I''m always looking for new clothing ideas lately.

I am someone that would probably be sensitive to a woman wearing white to my wedding. Bearing that in mind, I would absolutley not be offended if you wore white/ivory or any combo thereof to the morning after brunch. If it would be ok with me, (actual "finishing school" grad and etiquette guru) I think it would be ok with just about anyone!

Wonderful! I thought it probably stopped after the wedding itself, which is a relief because I really love this dress.

zoe, it''s from Zara and I can''t find a picture of it so far. I''ll get my camera out and take one for you because it''s a really cute dress. I''ve got pretty big boobs and somehow this dress completely minimizes them. I''m in love.
