Hello to all,
The BF and I went to a party at our friends'' house where they surprised everyone with news of their engagement. While we were all congratulating them and making the obligatory "it''s about time" jokes, my BF says, "Wow guys, I guess this puts the pressure on me now!" I responded with, "yeah, let''s hope so," and a smile. We''ve been together almost 3 years and have been bombarded with "when are you two getting married?" for the past 2 years, and now we''re giving the answer, "sometime next year," so there is a vague timeline in place.
Two weeks ago we went to his friend''s wedding. While at the wedding we were told another friend is planning a surprise proposal for his girlfriend next weekend. Another friend''s girlfriend then told me that she heard my BF had been looking at rings and she was betting I''d be getting a proposal soon. Hmmm, I thought my BF had told me that he wouldn''t dare go ring shopping without me...
Anyway, you''d think that with all this inspiration around him he couldn''t help but to drop down to one knee and propose!
Ok, I just had to vent to someone--I''m starting to get antsy!!!
